MyMate was founded by Ajit Kumar Nair, a father of two wonderful children with special needs living in Auckland, New Zealand. For years, Ajit searched for tools that could make his children’s daily lives easier — a way to support their routines, independence, and emotional wellbeing. Most apps were too complicated, too generic,
or simply didn’t understand what families like his truly needed.
With deep compassion and determination, Ajit Kumar Nair envisioned a simple yet powerful disability support app — one that would work offline or online, empower its users, and help caregivers stay connected without being intrusive.
Thus, MyMate was born.

Whether you or a loved one is living with Autism, ADHD, Down syndrome, or any intellectual or physical disability — or you are caring for someone who is — MyMate is your digital ally.
